Dr. Chelsea Des Rosiers graduated from Magnificat High School in 2013 and went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from Cleveland State University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s in Biology and a minor in Spanish. She completed her doctorate in Optometry at Midwestern University Chicago College of Optometry in 2021.
While in optometry school, Dr. D loved participating in vision screenings and went on a mission trip to Guatemala. She also spent time working in the research lab and has multiple publications. She presented her research at the American Academy of Optometry in 2019 and 2020. Dr. D also received multiple awards, including the Kenneth A. Suarez Research Grant, the Clinical Distinction Award in the summer of 2019 and again in the winter of 2019, and the Clinical Distinction Award in Pediatrics and Vision Therapy in May 2021. Her particular passion is for pediatrics and dry eye disease.
Dr. D loves traveling, kayaking on Lake Erie, and hiking in the Adirondacks. Her favorite place to visit is Spain!
She thanks her family and loved ones for their support and help in starting her practice and is thrilled to be able to serve her home community of Westlake and the surrounding greater Cleveland area!
