Eyes on Dover Is Joining Westlake’s Wellness and Safety Day 2026

Looking for a fun, family-friendly way to prioritize your health and wellness in Westlake, Ohio? Eyes on Dover is excited to participate in this year’s Westlake Wellness and Safety Day on Saturday, September 12, 2026!

This annual community event brings together local organizations, health professionals, and families for a day focused on healthy living, safety, education, and community connection. We’re proud to be part of an event that encourages Westlake residents to take a proactive approach to their health—including their eye health.

The Westlake Wellness and Safety Day will take place on:

• Time: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
• Location: Westlake Recreation Center
• Address: 28955 Hilliard Blvd., Westlake, OH 44145

The event is hosted by the City of Westlake and University Hospitals and is designed to provide health resources and educational opportunities for people of all ages. 

Why Eye Health Is an Important Part of Your Overall Wellness

A Fun Day for the Whole Family

There will be plenty to see and do at Westlake’s Wellness and Safety Day. According to the City of Westlake, activities include a 5K Run/Walk, 1 Mile Fun Walk, community pancake breakfast, Touch a Truck, a bouncy house, a magician, Cleveland Browns mascot Chomps, free bike helmets and fittings for kids, and hospital and community tables. 

The event will also feature walk-up health screenings, including blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol, hearing, balance and grip, and stroke risk assessments. 

It’s a great opportunity to make wellness a family affair—and to discover health and wellness resources available right here in the Westlake community.
